DATboyROME - '94-2012
So its been a lil while, yes yes it has.. but fuck the bs, ive been on my grind and im back with the music video for ‘94-2012. I directed the whole thing, my homie Samuel Gabriel was behind da camera doin his thing.. And this is what we came up with. ‘94-2012 is the representation of myself and what ive done with my 18 years of life. I feel ive come a long way from that lonely kid with low self esteem. Although I still feel those emotions, the feeling of accomplishment from this music overpowers my negative thoughts and doubts, which is why I started making music in the first place. ow that im putting my music out im noticing the impact im having on my city and my generation, they support and believe in me because I stood up and tried to make something happen for us. People look at us 90s babies and say theres no hope for the future, they think were a fuck up generation or sum shit. Fuck that, I refuse to be what people say ill be or should be.. Im a rebel.. No wait fuck that I am THE REBEL, I represent anarchy and individuality. Thats Rome’s character. FUCK what anyone says, you can do whatever you wanna do with your life and you can be whoever you wanna be, but “it aint coming to none you gotta run to it, like I put myself in the position to make music” thats a RoMe quote ha. Fuck greed, and feed on humble pie. But enough of that I dont wanna come off as a preach.. check out the vid, put ya homies on it, spread this everywhere.
